@V_ They are a medium heat (10-23k Scoville Heat Units). They would likely rate as very hot to most natives here in Minnesota.

@Parag Thank you! They start out a deep green, then turn bright red when ripe.

@Denny I'm also thinking it may be too much pressure for the tube. I use a mix of tubes and tires throughout the year, and have not been diligent about recording what tubes work with what tires (and the recommended tire pressure). I just ordered a replacement set of Kenda K80 tires which run at 35psi max and will try them with the existing QTubes (26" x 2.1-2.3") instead of the current tires which recommend 55psi. I've probably overcomplicated something pretty basic, so we'll see what the results are once the tires arrive.

@ericmwalk I've also used way too many note taking apps. I find that Bear strikes a good balance of capability, attractiveness, and utility for both words and photos. It's more feature rich than Simplenote, less fiddly than Drafts, and looks a whole lot better than Apple Notes (that might be a low bar).

@Denny Good question. I'm guessing the rimtape is not doing its job, since the puncture is on the interior of the tube. Tire pressure is around 55psi on balloon tires. I'll try another new tube, a different tire, and see what happens?
